To & From Cork Airport By Car
Dropping Off & Collecting Passengers
Set Down Lane
The outer right-hand lane on the forecourt can be used by private vehicles for dropping off or collecting passengers at Cork Airport. This set-down lane is there to facilitate the loading and unloading of people and/or baggage.
A barrier system with automatic number plate recognition is in place and access is free-of-charge for up to 10 minutes to allow for normal drop off and collection. For drivers who wish to stay beyond the 10 minute grace period, charges will apply. These charges can be viewed here. Please use the short-term multi-storey car park if you wish to stay longer, which is also free for the first 15 minutes. Gate rate parking charges for the short-term multi-storey car park can be viewed here.
Due to the high volume of traffic using the forecourt at Cork Airport and in the interest of good traffic management, vehicles are not permitted to wait excessively for arriving passengers outside the terminal on the forecourt in the Set Down Lane. Attended vehicles will be moved on and the policy of clamping unattended vehicles is strictly enforced by Airport Police. Cars must not be left unattended at any time.
