Bus Services To And From Cork Airport

Cork Airport is served by scheduled bus and coach services that link the airport with Cork city centre and other towns. The main bus station in Cork city is Parnell Place Bus Station, and from there, you can travel to destinations all over Ireland on the Bus Éireann network. 

Bus services from Cork Airport terminate at Kent Train Station, from where you can take Intercity rail services to Killarney, Tralee, and Dublin along with Commuter rail services to Midleton and Cobh.

Cork Airport is also served by scheduled coach services to Limerick and Galway, which are operated by Irish Citylink. 

All bus and coach services arrive and depart from the front of the terminal building. The average journey time between Cork Airport and Parnell Place Bus Station is 25 minutes.

Bus Éireann services

For Bus Éireann services, you can purchase bus tickets from the bus driver (cash only), or at the ticket machine located inside the building, or online using the TFI (Transport for Ireland) Go App. You can also use a TFI Leap Card to pay the fare. TFI Leap Cards can be purchased and topped up at WHSmith which is also located within the terminal.

A TFI Leap Card is a prepaid travel card which is the easiest way to pay your fare on public transport around Ireland. It is valid on most TFI services and commercial bus operators throughout Ireland. It’s more convenient because you don’t have to carry cash or queue at ticket machines, and it can save money because fares are usually up to 30% less than cash single tickets.

Buses from Cork Airport to Cork city centre

From Cork Airport bus stop A, you can take Bus Éireann services 225 or 226 to Cork city centre, with stops at Parnell Place Bus Station and Kent Train Station.

Buses to Cork Airport from Cork city centre

Bus Éireann services 225 and 226 both depart from Kent Train Station, with stops at Clontarf Street (opposite Parnell Place Bus Station) and Anglesea Street (outside Cork City Hall) to Cork Airport.

Buses from Cork Airport to Carrigaline and Ringaskiddy

From bus stop B, customers can take Bus Éireann service 225 with stops at Ballygarvan, Carrigaline, Ringaskiddy and Haulbowline.

Buses from Cork Airport to Kinsale

From bus stop B, customers can take Bus Éireann service 226 with stops at Riverstick, Belgooly, and Kinsale.

Irish Citylink Services

Tickets for coach services to Limerick and Galway can be purchased online at citylink.ie while standby tickets can be purchased directly from the coach driver (cash and card accepted). Bus timetables can be viewed on www.citylink.ie.

Buses from Cork Airport to Limerick and Galway

From bus stop C, customers can take Citylink service 251 with stops at Limerick (Henry Street) and Galway (Coach Station). Citylink operate eight daily services connecting Cork Airport with Limerick and Galway.

Other Services

Buses to and from Dublin
