Free flights will be given away by Cork Airport, Ireland’s fastest growing and most punctual Airport, on Friday, July 19 as part of a ‘Spin the Wheel’ competition in Limerick city.
Pairs of return tickets to a range of destinations, such as Budapest, Edinburgh, Lisbon, and London Luton will be up for grabs from 1pm, as well as a Topflight Holiday voucher, at the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick city. Also available to win on the day are luxury hampers from The Loop, vouchers for car parking at Cork Airport, along with complimentary passes to the ASPIRE business lounge.
The ‘Spin the Wheel’ competition is to promote Cork Airport’s connectivity to over 50 destinations worldwide, including eight new routes this summer. This event is open to the public and will feature on SPIN South West’s SPIN Hits with Louise. DJ Darren Regan will be reporting live to studio from the event.
Commenting on the event, Head of Communications at Cork Airport, Kevin Cullinane said: “We are delighted to bring our ‘Spin the Wheel’ game to Limerick city on Friday (July 19). To be in with a chance to win, we ask the public to collect a luggage tag and if it is anything under 20kg, they will get to spin the wheel. However, if the chosen luggage tag is over 20kg, they don’t get to spin the wheel.
“In total, 2.6 million passengers are expected to travel through Cork Airport this year, up 8% compared to 2018. This growth is due to the support of passengers travelling from across Munster, including Limerick. Cork Airport is very much the airport for the south of Ireland, and for Limerick holiday-makers, offers great ease of access, flexibility and connectivity."
