Online parking charges are calculated on a per day/24 hour basis or part thereof. Cork Airport offer a flat rate for both short and long-term parking.

Your exit time will be extended to give you the full benefit of the per day parking rate. There is no additional cost for this extra time.

Get the best online price by pre-booking your parking well in advance of your car park entry date.  Demand is high for our lowest priced offers and they sell out quickly, so the lowest price offered on one day may vary from what you see on a different day.  Our prices are subject to change. Therefore, the price is only valid at the time you get your quote. Booking will be accepted up to 6 hours before your entry, however much earlier bookings are advised to get the best prices.

A €2 fee applies when you book less than 24 hours before your car parking commences.

Yes, the parking charges include VAT at 23% (from 1st January 2012).

 

Amending or Cancelling Car Park Booking FAQs

  • It is possible to amend or cancel a booking, however it must be up to 6 hours in advance of the pre-booked arrival time.
  • Go to the "Manage My Booking" section, located under 'Parking' on the Cork Airport Car Parks page.
  • You will need the booking reference number from your booking confirmation and the email address you provided during the booking process.
  • Alternatively, you can contact the Car Parks Team by email at: parking@corkairport.com and include your unique pre-booking reference number in the email.

  • Yes, if you cancel the booking up to 6 hours in advance of the stated, pre-booked arrival time and date, then your car parking fee will be automatically refunded back to you in full to the debit-credit card used to make the online booking.
  • Cancellations cannot be accepted any later than this 6-hour provision. Please go to ‘Manage my booking’ on the home page of www.corkairport.com and enter your booking reference number and email used to make the booking to proceed to cancel. 
  • Alternatively, you can contact the Car Parks Team by email at: parking@corkairport.com and include your unique pre-booking reference number in the email.
  • This does not apply for bookings made through any of our airline partner websites, please contact that airline directly to provide credit/debit card details to arrange a refund.

There is no fee for amending or cancelling your booking.

You can amend the booking up to a maximum of 6 hours in advance of the pre-booked arrival time. Please go to www.corkairport.com and click on the ‘Manage my booking’ link. If you need to extend your booking and your car is in the car park already, please contact the Car Parks Team on +353 21 432 9633 or by email at: parking@corkairport.com.

It is possible to amend a booking, however it must be up to 6 hours in advance of the pre-booked arrival time. Go to the "Manage My Booking" section, located under 'Parking' on the Cork Airport Car Parks page. You will need the booking reference number from your booking confirmation and the email address you provided during the booking process.

Alternatively, you can contact the Car Parks Team by email at: parking@corkairport.com and include your unique pre-booking reference number in the email.

 

Making a Car Park Booking FAQs

  1. Log on to the Cork Airport website and follow the links to the Parking and Online Booking pages.
  2. To get a "Quick Quote" insert your date and time of arrival at the car park and your date and time of departure from the car park into the boxes provided.
  3. Click on the "Book Space" button.
  4. The system will check parking availability for the dates and times specified by you and, if parking is available, will:
    Calculate the duration of your expected stay.
    Display the applicable parking fee for each car park with parking available during your planned visit.
  5. Check that the dates and times shown in the box above Parking Fee are correct. If any of the information is not correct click on the "Back" button to return to the "Quick Quote" page. For information about each of the car parks available during your planned visit click on the name of the car park and read the information page carefully. You are advised to print (click on the "Print" button at the end of the page) and retain a copy of this document for your selected car park. Click on the "Close" button when you have read the document.
  6. If the car park, dates, times and parking fee displayed are correct click on the "Book" button in the box specific to your car park of choice in order to proceed with your booking. Otherwise click on "Back" button to return to the "Quick Quote" page.
  7. Complete the "Personal Details" section by inserting the required information into the boxes provided. Note that you can save your personal details for future bookings by clicking on the box on the right hand side. Please ensure that the details you provide are correct. The credit card used at time of booking will be used as an identifier when arriving at the car park.
  8. Complete the "Payment Details" section by inserting the required information into the boxes provided. Please ensure that the details you provide are correct.
  9. Click on the "Terms and Conditions" link and read carefully the document presented. Confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them by clicking on the box opposite 'I have read and accept the Terms and conditions'.
  10. The system will validate your card details and once approval is received, will automatically issue a formal booking confirmation while you are still online. You should print and retain a copy of this booking confirmation as it includes details of your booking and your unique booking reference number. This reference number is essential if you later need for any reason to inspect, amend or cancel your booking.

Pre-booking must be made at least 6 hours prior to the expected time of arrival at the selected car park.

Yes pre-booked customers can arrive up to 3 hours in advance of the pre-booked arrival time. 

When you arrive at the car park exit barrier you will need to insert your debit card used to make the booking in order to exit. the car park system will check your pre-booking file and calculate the duration of your stay, establishing whether any additional fee is due.

If an additional fee is due, you will be required to insert a credit or debit card to pay the additional fee, which will be calculated based on the drive up tariff/ gate rate applicable on the date of your departure from the car park.

Yes, you can still use the car park facilities even if you have not pre-booked online.

A Yes, you may use the same card for multiple bookings providing none of the booking periods overlap. You must not use the same card for multiple reservations when bookings overlap.

On completion of the booking process, the website will confirm that your booking was accepted and that a booking confirmation is being sent to your email.

You then receive an email confirmation at the email address you provided when making the online booking. It is recommended that if you haven't received a confirmation email you should check your spam and junk folders.

These confirmations set out the details of your booking and include your unique booking reference number.

Please repeat the process and enter 000 as the security code for your credit or visa card.

A The foreign exchange rate charged to your credit card is applied at the time you make your booking online. This exchange rate is set by your credit card company. Cork Airport receives payment for your online booking only in Euro. Should you subsequently amend your booking or otherwise become eligible for a refund for all or part of the pre-booking payment, Cork Airport will refund the appropriate Euro amount to your card account. The foreign exchange rate on any such refund will be set by your card company. Cork Airport does not accept responsibility for the effects, positive or negative, of any fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

A You may make a booking up to six months in advance of your planned arrival date/time at the car park.

No. You cannot reserve a specific parking space. However, by pre-booking parking online you ensure that there will be a parking space available for you at the time and date indicated in your booking.

The maximum length of stay is: 99 days or part thereof in our Short and Long-Term Car Parks.

The minimum pre-booked stay is: 1 day (24 hours) or part thereof in the Long Term car parks and Short Term car park.

The details you provide are encrypted to prevent them being read over the internet. This is indicated by the GeoTrust icon on the car parking page. You can click on the icon for more details of your payment for your online car park booking.

When you pre-book your car parking, the exit time is automatically extended to the same time as your entry time, on a rolling 24-hour basis, in order to give you the benefit of the full day parking rate, at no extra cost.

For example: if your entry time to the car park is 04.00 on the 10th of June and you are due to exit on the 17th of June, but at a later time such as 19.00, then the system automatically allows you extra exit time to reflect the full 24 hours available to you on your per day car park rate. Your exit time will appear on the booking as 04.00 on the 18th, to allow you ample time, but you will still be able to exit on the 17th.

There is no need to pre-book Special Assistance parking at Cork Airport online.

Entering and Exiting The Car Parks FAQs

No. To enter or exit any car park at Cork Airport that you pre-booked online you must use the credit/visa card used to make the booking or the alternative card nominated during the booking process.

Either tap the contactless card reader or insert the card into the credit card reader to gain entry or exit.

Do not press the button for a paper ticket unless you have not made on online pre-booking.

If you need assistance, press the intercom button at the barrier and a member of the car park team will assist you.

At the barrier:

  • You must use the credit/visa card used to make the booking or the alternative card nominated during the booking process to enter the car park.
  • Either tap the contactless card reader or insert the card into the credit card reader to gain entry.
  • Do not press the button for a paper ticket.
  •  To exit the car park either tap the contactless card reader or insert the credit/visa card into the credit card reader to open the barrier.
  • If you need assistance, press the intercom button at the barrier and a member of the car park team will assist you.

 

The "Full" sign is for the information of customers who have not pre-booked their parking online.

When you arrive at the car park exit barrier you will need to insert your debit card used to make the booking in order to exit. the car park system will check your pre-booking file and calculate the duration of your stay, establishing whether any additional fee is due.

If an additional fee is due, you will be required to insert a credit or debit card to pay the additional fee, which will be calculated based on the drive up tariff/ gate rate applicable on the date of your departure from the car park.

We advise all car park customers to note down and/or take a photo of their parking space and section or zone, so you have this to hand to help you find your car upon your return.

  • Take the same car whose licence plate details you provided when making the booking.
  • Bring the same credit or debit card used to make the booking as this will need to be inserted in the car park entry barrier to gain access to the car park and inserted at the exit barrier when exiting the car park.

On your return, you have two options:

  • Press the intercom button at the exit barrier or pay stations to talk to a member of the Car Parks Team who can help you.
  • Go to the Airport Services Desk located in the Arrivals Area or the Car Parks Desk, located on the ground floor of the short-term car park and a member of our team will be able to help you.

You must insert the same credit/debit card used to make the online booking and the system will then identify your booking and raise the barrier. You are also required to enter the same credit/debit card at the exit when leaving the car park.

Please bring the following with you to in order to ensure your online booking is recognised and that you can gain entry to the car park as per your pre-booking:

  • Take the same car whose licence plate details you provided when making the booking.
  • Bring the same credit or debit card used to make the booking as this will need to be inserted in the car park entry barrier to gain access to the car park and inserted at the exit barrier when exiting the car park.

 

 

 

Special Assistance or Reduced Mobility Parking FAQs

The long-term and short-term car parks accommodate standard family cars, SUVs etc.

Vehicles are subject to height restrictions in the short-term multi-storey car parks. We do not accommodate large commercial vehicles or vehicles with trailers attached.
